    List of Ingredients


    • 1 (16 oz.) can sliced peaches
    • 1/2 tsp. almond extract
    • 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    • 1/2 c. oats
    • 1/3 c. brown sugar, packed
    • 1/4 c. flour
    • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    • Whipped topping or ice cream
    • Ground cinnamon (optional)


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
    2. Butter a 9-inch pie pan. Drain peaches, reserving syrup. Place peaches in pie pan.
    3. In a small bowl, combine 1/4 c. of the reserved peach syrup with almond extract; pour over peaches and set aside. Discard any remaining syrup.
    4. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter or margarine. Remove from heat. Stir in oats, brown sugar, flour and cinnamon until mixed and crumbly. Sprinkle over peaches.
    5. Bake for 20 minutes or until syrup is thickened and top is slightly browned.
    6. Spoon peach crisp into dessert dishes and serve with whipped topping or ice cream. Sprinkle with cinnamon, if desired.
