    Recipe Introduction


    This recipe was adapted from one I found at: Buny's Recipe Circus


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 c. cooked rice
    • 1/2 c. sugar
    • 1 egg, slightly beaten
    • 1 tsp. vanilla
    • 2 Tbsp. butter
    • 1 c. whole milk or half-and-half
    • 1/4 to 1/2 c. raisins
    • Cinnamon or Nutmeg (optional)


    Instructions


    1. Mix rice, sugar and egg in saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer til thick. Add milk or cream and return to a boil. Add vanilla and butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon or nutmeg and serve warm.
    2. BAKED PUDDING: Follow above directions, pouring into greased 9x9" pan before sprinkling with cinnamon or nutmeg. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
