Rice Pudding

List of Ingredients
- 2 c. cooked rice
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. whole milk or half-and-half
- 1/4 to 1/2 c. raisins
- Cinnamon or Nutmeg (optional)
Instructions
- Mix rice, sugar and egg in saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer til thick. Add milk or cream and return to a boil. Add vanilla and butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon or nutmeg and serve warm.
- BAKED PUDDING: Follow above directions, pouring into greased 9x9" pan before sprinkling with cinnamon or nutmeg. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
