Recipe Introduction
This has become one of my very favorite recipes... after only making it once!
List of Ingredients
- 1/3 c. finely chopped onion
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 4 sprigs fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter*
- 2 lbs. fresh medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 c. dry white wine
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Hot cooked rice or angel hair pasta
Instructions
- Saute the onion, garlic, and parsley in the butter until the onion is tender. Reduce the heat to low and add the shrimp.
- Cook for a couple of minutes, stirring frequently, until the shrimp turn pink.
- Add the wine, lemon juice, salt, and peper to the mixture.
- Sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese, if desired. Serve immediately over rice or angel hair pasta.
Final Comments
*I used slightly more butter because I wanted to make sure there was enough sauce for the pasta.
