Salisbury Steak
List of Ingredients
- 1 can French Onion soup, divided
- 1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
- 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- Dash pepper
- 1/4 c. catsup
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. flour
Instructions
- Thoroughly mix 1/3 c. soup with ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, salt and pepper; shape into 6 oval patties. In large frying pan, brown patties; drain well.
- Mix remaining soup with catsup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, water and flour. Pour over patties in pan. Lower heat and cook about 20 minutes or until desired doneness.
