    Baked Chicken 'n Cream

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 c. flour
    • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
    • Dash pepper
    • 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
    • 1 chicken, cut up
    • 1 stick (1/2 c.) butter or margarine
    • 1 qt. light cream (half and half)


    Instructions


    1. Combine flour with seasonings; coat chicken with mixture.

    2. In skillet, melt butter or margarine. Brown chicken pieces until golden. Place in 9 x 13" baking dish.

    3. Stir remaining flour mixture into margarine in skillet; stir until smooth. Add cream and cook, stirring constantly until slightly thickened. Pour over chicken in pan.

    4. Place in oven and bake at 350^ for 1 hour until done. Serve hot with rice or noodles.



    Final Comments


    May substitute four boneless chicken breasts, if desired.
