Chicken and Shrimp a la Italiano

List of Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 lb. shrimp
- 1 stick (1/2 c.) margarine
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 bay leaf, crumbled
- 3 cloves garlic, diced
- 1 lg. onion, diced
- 1 lg. bell pepper, diced
- 1 stalk celery, sliced
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1-2 tomatoes, diced
Instructions
- Peel and clean shrimp, cut into bite-sized pieces. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces.
- Combine salt, red pepper flakes, black pepper, oregano and bay leaf. Sprinkle half of mixture over shrimp, and half over chicken.
- In large frying pan, melt margarine. Add chicken and saute until it turns color; scoop out meat, leaving margarine. Add shrimp to same pan and saute until pink; scoop out shrimp.
- Add garlic, onion, bell pepper and celery in remaining margarine. Saute until tender. Add Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice and tomatoes. Return meats to pan and simmer about 3 minutes or until heated through.
- Serve over cooked spaghetti, fusilli, linguini or rice.
