List of Ingredients
- 2-3 lb. frying chicken, cut up
- 1/2 lb. bacon
- 4 med. potatoes, quartered
- 1 lg. onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Instructions
- Wash and dry chicken.
- In Dutch oven fry bacon until crisp and remove.
- Add chicken to pan and brown well on all sides. Remove to a 2 qt casserole.
- Add bacon to chicken.
- Brown quartered potatoes in bacon fat. Remove from fat and place on top of chicken.
- Put onion slices on top of potatoes and sprinkle with all the seasoning.
- Cover and bake at 350 for 40 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
