    Judy's Recipe
    1 cup water
    1/2 cup butter
    1/2 cup flour
    1/2 cup rye flour
    1 T. dried parsley
    1/2 t. garlic powder
    1/8 t. salt
    4 eggs
    Caraway seeds

    CORNED BEEF FILING:

2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese
6 ounces cooked corned beef, finely chopped
    1/2 cup mayonnaise
    1/4 cup sour cream
    2 T. finely chopped onion
    2 t. minced chives
    1 t. spicy brown mustard
    1/8 t. garlic powder
2 T. pimentos, finely diced (optional)

    1. In a saucepan over medium heat, bring water and butter to a boil. Add flours, parsley, garlic powder and salt all at oncel stir until a smooth ball forms. Remove from heat; let stand for 5 minutes. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Beat until smooth.

    2. Drop the dough by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto greased baking sheets. Sprinkle with caraway seeds. Bake at 400º for 18-20 minutes or until golden. Immediately remove to wire racks and cut a slit in each puff to allow steam to escape; cool.

    3. In a mixing bowl, combine the first eight filling ingredients; mix well. Stir in pimentos, if desired. Split puffs in half (so there is a top half and bottom half). Add filling on bottom half of puffs and cover with tops. Refrigerate until serving.

    Yield: 4-1/2 dozen.
