    Cream Filling for Cakes, Cream Puffs etc

    1/3 c sugar
    1 egg beaten
    3 tbsp flour
    1 c. milk
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 tsp vanilla

    Mix flour, sugar, and salt. Add beaten egg. Add milk and cook over double boiler until thick , stirring all the time. Cool add vanilla.
    Great for cake fillings and also cream puffs.
