Scented Cinnamon Ornaments

Judy's Recipe

1 4ounce can Cinnamon [about 1 cup]
1 tablespoon ground Cloves
1 tbsp Nutmeg
3/4 cup Applesauce
2 tablespoons White glue
1 Drinking straw
Ribbon

In a medium bowl, stir dry ingredients to combine. Add applesauce and glue. Work mixture with hands for 2 to 3 minutes or until dough is smooth and ingredients are mixed. Divide into 4 portions. Roll out each to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut dough with cookie cutters or into desired shapes.
Using a straw, make a small hole in top of each ornament. Dry on racks for several days turning over once a day. Insert a ribbon through hole and tie with a knot or bow.
