    Bowties with Cottage Cheese

    Yield: 6-8 adults as a side dish

    1 bag of bowtie noodles (Manishewitz')
    1 Large container of dry curd cottage cheese (light or non fat can be used)
    16 oz. container of sour cream (light or non-fat can be used)
    2-3 T. margarine (my mom uses only fat-free "spread")
    Salt and pepper to taste

    Boil the bowties according to package directions (use the entire bag). When tender drain well. Put bowties back into cooking pot and on very low flame. Stir in cottage cheese and about half of the sour cream and margarine. Mix well. Add salt and pepper to taste and serve hot. If the mixture seems a little dry, just add more sour cream.
