    Pizza Loaf

    1 lb. loaf French bread
    butter, softened
    ¾ lb. ground beef, browned
    ½ c grated Parmesan cheese
    ½ t. dried oregano leaves
    1/8 t. pepper
    ½ t. salt
    1½ T. minced onion
    1½ [6 oz] cans tomato paste
    ¼ c. sliced olives, optional
    2 ripe tomatoes, thinly sliced
    8 slices of cheese ;your choice, I used mozzarella

    Preheat oven to 350º. Cut bread in half lengthwise. Spread with butter. Combine bee, Parmesan cheese, oregano, salt , pepper, onion , tomatopaste and olives; if using. Spread mixture on cut sides of bread. Place loaves on a cookie sheet. Top with tomato slices. Bake for 20 minutes. Top with cheese slices. Bake for 5 more minutes or til melted.
    Very filling, I cut the loaves into 6 individual pieces and that was very fillling! You could probably cut into 8 pieces and serve with a salad.
