French Onion Soup

Recipe Introduction
Have been making this for years it is the best onion soup I have ever tasted!!!
6 to 8 onions, thinly sliced
1/4 cup margarine
4 10-1/2 oz cans condensed
beef broth
1 soup can water
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 french or hard rolls sliced and toasted
grated Parmesan cheese
Sliced Mozzerela or Swiss cheese
In a large saucepan cook onions in margarine till lightly browned, about 20 min.,
add beef broth, water, Worcestershire, salt and pepper.
Bring to a boil; simmer 5 minutes.
Ladle into soup bowls, top with toast.
Sprinkle with parmesan cheese;
top with slice of mozzarella or Swiss cheese.
Place under broiler for a few seconds, just till cheese is lightly browned.
Makes 10 to 12 servings.
