    List of Ingredients


    • 2 (6oz.) beef tenderloin steaks, cut into 1 inch pieces
    • 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    • 3/4 tsp. salt
    • 1/2 tsp. pepper
    • 1 Tbsp. butter
    • 4 medium shallots, peeled and quartered
    • 1/2 tsp. dried thyme
    • 1 tsp. minced garlic
    • 1 (8oz.) package of sliced mushrooms
    • 3/4 cup beef broth
    • 1/2 cup dry red wine


    Instructions


    1. Combine beef, flour, salt and pepper in a large zip-top plastic bag; seal and shake to coat.
    2. Melt butter in large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add beef mixture and shallots; stir fry for approximately 5 minutes.
    3. Add thyme, garlic, and mushrooms; stir fry for approximately 3 minutes.
    4. Add broth and wine; cook for 5 minutes or until shallots are tender and sauce thickens, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and serve.


    Final Comments
