List of Ingredients
- 8 eggs
- 1/4 cup diced red pimentos or roasted peppers
- 1 tsp dry or fresh parsley flakes
- 1 cup half-and-half
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp white pepper(optional)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 12 oz. shredded swiss cheese
- 12 oz. cooked crisp turkey bacon crumbled
Instructions
- Greased 8 in. square baking pan or deep dish pie pan. Preheat oven on bake to 350F.
- Mix eggs,half-and-half,pimentos and spices in a large bowl with a wire whip.
- Fold in cheese and turkey bacon. Pour into greased pan and bake for 40 min. until golden brown. Since ovens vary,40 min. is an approximate cooking time and you should test for doneness by sticking a wooden toothpick in the center. If it comes out clean,and the quiche is golden brown,it's done.
