Rigatoni with Turkey Sausage and Mozzare

List of Ingredients
- 8 ozs. spelt or whole-wheat rigatoni or penne
- 3/4 lb. reduced-fat sweet or hot Italian turkey sausages
- 3 cups low-sugar pasta sauce
- 4 ozs. shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese(1 cup)
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to pkg. directions. Drain and set aside.
- While pasta is cooking,heat a large nonstick skillet over med. heat. Add sausages and cook,turning often,until no longer pink inside,about 15 min. Transfer to a cutting board and slice diagonally into 1/4-in. thick pieces.
- Heat pasta sauce over med. heat until hot. Place pasta, sausage,sauce,cheese,and basil in a large bowl and toss to combine. Season with salt and pepper and serve hot.
- Makes 4(2-cup)servings
