• 1 cup butter
  
• 3 cups sugar
  
• 6 eggs
  
• 3 cups flour
  
• 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  
• 1/2 tsp salt
  
• 1 cup sour cream
  
• 1/4 tsp baking soda
  






Instructions



1. cream butter and sugar until fluffy
   
2. add eggs one at a time beat well after each egg
   
3. add vanilla and salt
   
4. add flour and sour cream alternately, beginning and ending with flour
   
5. reserve 2 TSP of sour cream, add soda to it
   
6. pour into floured and greased tube pan and bake at 350 for 90 minutes
