This roasted garlic makes a fine appetizer with french bread.Roasted garlic can be added to other dishes also.

1 head jumbo garlic per person(do not use elephant garlic,which is too bitter.Olive oil.

Oven 325*.Lightly baste garlic in alittle oil.Wrap in foil,poke a few holes in foil.Bake 1 1/4-1 1/2 hrs.till garlic meat is soft.To serve;slice garlic in 1/2 horizontally,drizzle with oil,warm in oven till golden.Gently squeeze each 1/2 to remove meat.Spread on bread.
