    2 c.self-rising cornmeal,2c.self-rising flour,2 eggs beaten,2(or more if needed)Tbls.bacon drippings,1 1/2c.buttermilk.

    Oven-400*.Combine 1 Tbls.drippings,cornmeal,flour,eggs,buttermilk in bowl.Stir till a batter forms with no lumps.Do'nt over-stir.Grease an iron skillet well with rest of drippings.Pour in batter.Bake 30-40mins.
