2 lrg.cooking apples peeled cored sliced thin,2 Tbls.butter,1 Tbls.lemon juice,1/2 cup flour,1/2 teas.baking powder,1/4 teas.salt,1/4 cup honey,1/4 cup milk,2 eggs,powdered sugar.

Simmer apples in skillet in butter and lemon juice till soft,5 mins.Remove from heat,cool.Prepare batter;in bowl,mix flour,baking powder,salt,add honey,milk,eggs,stir.Grease deep pie pan,pour 1/3 batter in,bake 400* 5 mins.Top with apple mix,then remaining batter.Bake 20-25 mins.Should be browned and puffy.Sprinkle with powdered sugar,cut in wedges.
