    1 yellow cake mix,1 egg,1/2 cup melted butter,1 1/2 c.white karo syrup,3 eggs,1/2 cup dark brown sugar,1 teas.vanilla,1-2 cups chopped pecans.

    Mix cake mix,1 egg,melted butter.Reserve 2/3 cup of this batter.Spread the rest into greased floured 9x13 pan,bake 325* 15 mins.Mix reserved batter with syrup,3 eggs,br.sugar,vanilla,nuts.Pour this filling on top of crust,bake 50-60 mins.325*
