    2 1/4 cups flour,3/4 cup brown sugar,1 teas.baking powder,2 teas.cinnamon,1 teas.ginger,1/2 teas.soda,1/2 teas.salt,1/2 teas.nutmeg,1/4 teas.cloves,3/4 cup water,3/4 cup oil,3/4 cup molasses,2 eggs,Butter Sauce;1 cup brown sugar,1/2 cup butter,1/3 cup water.

    Oven 350*,greased,floured fluted tube pan.Blend all cake ingred.Pour into pan.Bake 45-55 mins.Poke holes into cake,pour in butter sauce.Serve topped with whipped cream.
