    1-9" pie plate buttered,5 or more apples peeled thin sliced,1/2 cup sugar,1/2 teas.cinnamon:1 egg beaten,1/2 cup sugar,6 Tbls.melted butter,3/4 cup flour,1 teas.vanilla,1/2 cup fine chop nuts.

    Fill pie plate even with brim with apples.Mix 1/2 cup sugar with cinn.,spinkle over apples.Combine egg,1/2 cup sugar,beat till fluffy,stir in flour,cooled butter,vanilla,nuts.Spread mixture smoothly over apples.Bake 350* 50 mins,and browned.
