1/2 or 1c.Sugar,1 or 2c.corn syrup,1 or 2 teas.cream of tarter,1/4 or 1/2 teas.baking soda,butter the size of a walnut.

Cook all but soda and butter to soft ball stage,then add butter and soda,stir well,Pour over popped corn.Work fast with buttered hands to form balls.Set on wax paper to dry.
