    1/2 cup shortening,1/2 cup sugar,1 egg,1 teas.vanila,1 1/8 cup flour,1/4 teas.baking soda,1/8 teas.baking powder,1/4 teas.salt.

    Recipe



    Cream shortening,sugar,egg,vanilla.Sift and stir in flour,soda,powder,salt.Make into balls,place on greased sheet,flatten slightly with fork.Bake 375* 5-8 mins.Do not over bake.This recipe can be doubled. These are really tasty cookies for such simple ingredients!
