    1 1/2 cup sugar,1/2 cup soft butter,1/2 cup shortening,2 eggs,2 3/4 cup flour,2 teas.cream of tarter,1 teas.baking soda,1/4 teas.salt,3 Tble.sugar,3 teas.cinnamon.

    Heat oven 400*.Mix 1 1/2 cup sugar,butter,short.,eggs.Stir in flour,cr.tarter,soda,salt.Shape into balls.Mix 3 Tbl.sugar with cinn.Roll balls in sugar-cinn.mix.Put 2 ins.apart,ungreased sheet.Bake 8-10 mins.
