    3 eggs,3 cups milk,4 Tbles.sugar,1 teas.vanilla,few grains salt,nutmeg.

    Beat eggs slightly till yolk and white are mixed,but not foamy;this is the secret of perfect custard,Add salt,sugar,vanilla,milk.Pour in custard cups.Place cups in pan with water in the bottom(water bath).Sprinkle with nutmeg.Bake 350*,30-35mins. or till set through.Cool.
