    1 pt.fresh strawberries,2 cups heavy cream,1 cup 1/2 and 1/2,3/4 cup sugar,1/2 teas.vanilla,dash salt.

    Clean and chop berries.Chill for 1 hr.Pour cream,1/2&1/2,into bowl.Add sugar,salt.Stir to dissolve.Put in ice cream freezer,freeze according to directions.When ice cream is consistency of whipped cream,stir in berries.
