    Recipe Introduction

    For about 2-3 jars of dills..recipe can be doubled,tripled,etc.

    List of Ingredients

    Pickling cukes,sprigs of dill,cloves of garlic,dried hot pepper(opt),grape leaves,pickling salt,vinegar,water,mustard seed.

    Recipe

    Place 2-3 grape leaves in bottom of jar(this is what keeps the pickles crisp),add 2 cloves garlic,a sprig of dill,1 sm.pepper,1/2 teas.mustard seed.Pack jars with cukes,add sprig of dill on top.Boil 1/8 cup pickling salt,5 cups water,1/2 cup vinegar.Pour over dills.Seal jars in water bath 10 mins.Leave about 8 weeks to mature.
