Corn meal(10oz.per qrt.liquid),consomme,water,flour,cheese,butter.Recipe
Sift corn meal(10oz.per qrt.liquid)and sprinkle it gradually into boiling consomme mixed with 1/3water,stirring constantly.Let thicken and cook,continuing to stir,until the paste separates from the side of the pan and a skin forms on top.Reverse it into a floured cloth and wrap it.Cut it first into slices and then into other shapes.Sprinkle the pieces with cheese and butter and brown in oven.
