Asparagus With Sesame Butter

2 lbs.fresh asparagus,1 cup boiling water,1/2 teas.salt,1 Tbls.cornstarch,1/4 cup cold water,1/4 cup butter,3 Tbls.toasted sesame seeds.Recipe
Put spears in skillet;add boiling water,salt.Cook 5-7mins.till tender.Remove spears,keep warm.Drain cooking liquid,reserving 1/2 cup in sm.saucepan.Combine cornstarch and cold water;stir into liquid.Cook and stir over med.till thick.Stir in butter till melted.Spoon over asparagus;sprinkle with seeds,serve.
