    4 large baking potatoes thinly sliced,1/4c.butter,1 Tbls.grated onion,1teas.salt,1/2teas.thyme,1/4teas.pepper,1c.shedded cheddar cheese,1Tbls.chopped fresh parsley.

    Oven 425*.greased 2qrt.baking dish.Put spuds in baking dish.Heat butter,onion,seasonings.Drizzle over spuds.Bake uncovered 45-50 mins.till tender.Uncover, top with cheese,bake 15 mins.
