    Korean Bulgogi (BBQ Beef)

    Recipe Introduction

    This is the classic dish from Korea. It is the thing they love to eat, because beef is not an every day menu item. Use your left overs, which there will be none, for Chop Chee.

    Tools

    Bowl with lid
    Spoon
    Knife
    Cutting board
    Measuring cup
    Measuring spoons, 1/2 Tsp, 1 Tsp, 1 Tbl
    Frying pan
    Tongs


    Ingredients

    1 lb. Thin Sliced Beef Steak or Sukiyaki Beef

    Marinade:

    1/4 C Soy sauce
    3 Tbl Sugar
    1 Tsp Garlic, minced
    1/4 C Green onions, chopped
    1 Tbl Sesame oil
    1/2 Tsp Ground black pepper
    2 Tbl Ground toasted sesame seeds

    Recipe

    Serves: 4
    Time required: Prepare: 5 minutes Cook: 10 minutes
    Difficulty: Easy


    Directions

    1. Combine meat with marinade, cover and marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

    2. You can stir fry the meat with the marinade till done. Lay the meat in the pan and try to cook it flat like bacon. Other options include: Putting on skewers and broiling, bbq, grilled, or microwaved.


    Serve with

    Chinese lettuce leaf, rice, kim chee, sesame seeds, couple drops of sesame oil, vegetables, marinaded garlic, and any dipping sauce you like. Roll up the lettuce, wrapping everything up into a ball. Then throw it in your mouth.
