Recipe Introduction
This is a quick easy tempura batter you can use if you need to make one from scratch. This is a classic chinese batter.

Ingredients
1 C Flour
1 C Cornstarch
1 Egg
1 C Ice water, without the ice cubesRecipe
Serves: About 2 cups of batter
Difficulty: Easy
Directions
1. Mix together everything thoroughly.
2. Dip what ever you want like meat, vegetable, cheese, or anything.
Variations
*Add any seasonings you like to it.
*Add paprika to give it more color.
*Add alot of garlic, and seasoning salts you like.
*Use the dips and sauces in those categories for use.
*Use to deep fry meat for oriental dishes.
*Try using Panko Japanese bread crumbs, after you have dipped the item in the batter. This will stay crisper than regular Italian bread crumbs. This will be more like you have with most of the breaded products you get.
