    Orange Chocolate Sauce

    Recipe Introduction

    This is a recipe I got on a hand out from some women's class on homemaking. I like to get all of the information and make my own file. This is a quick and easy sauce that has a very different flavor that you will like.

    List of Ingredients

    Tools

    Pot
    Spoon
    Measuring cup
    Measuring spoon, 1 Tsp


    Ingredients

    1 12 oz can Evaportated milk
    1 6 oz package Semi sweet chocolate chips
    1/2 C Butter
    1/2 C Frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
    2 C confectioners sugar, sifted
    1 Tsp Orange extract

    Recipe

    Serves: About 3 cups
    Time required: Prepare: 5 minutes Cook: 15 minutes
    Difficulty: Easy


    Directions

    1. Combine milk, chocolate, butter and orange juice in pot.

    2. Stir constantly over low heat until smooth.

    3. Increase heat to medium high, and gradually stir in sugar.

    4. Turn heat on high, till it boils, stirring constantly.

    5. Reduce heat to medium high and boil for 8 minutes.

    6. Remove from heat and stir in orange extract.

    7. Cool to room temperature. Use warm or cold. Can be stored in the refrigerator covered.


    Serve with

    Ice cream or cake.

    Use to dip cookies in.
