    Pizza Fondue

    Here is a completely different type of fondue. The kids really love this. Add any vegetables or other ingredients you want to this.

    List of Ingredients

    Tools

    Pot
    Stirring spoon
    Measuring cup
    Measuring spoons, 1/2 Tsp, 1 Tsp
    Serving dish, or a fondue pot
    Bamboo skewers


    Ingredients

    8 oz (about 1/2 pound) Lean ground beef or Italian sausage
    2 cloves Garlic, minced
    2-1/2 C Pizza sauce
    1/2 Tsp Dried basil
    2 Tsp Dried oregano
    1/2 C (about 2 ounces) grated Parmesan cheese
    1 C (about 4 ounces) shredded Mozzarella cheese
    Bread sticks or cut up pieces of french bread


    Recipe

    Serves: they say 16, but this would be for me and a skinny girl
    Time required: Prepare: 10 minutes Cook: 10 minutes
    Difficulty: Easy


    Directions

    1. Cook beef and garlic in frying pan over medium heat until no longer pink.

    2. Drain off fat.

    3. Stir in pizza sauce and spices.

    4. Cook over medium heat until hot, but not boiling.

    5. Combine cheese and stir into meat mixture until melted. Transfer into large serving dish, or fondue pot, and serve immediately with bread.


    Serve with

    Different types of bread.


    Variations

    *Can also be prepared without meat for vegetarian dish.

    *Add other spices you like.

    *Can add other cheeses like provolone, fresh mozzarella, cheddar, or anything you like. Just try to have a total of the same amount of cheese for the recipe.

    *Can be made to go on a bun or hoagie bread for a sandwich.
