Turkey or Pork Breakfast Sausages

Recipe Introduction
This is a simple, quick way to make sausage. You can cook this up like a breakfast sausage, or cook it like hamburger and use to top things like pizza. Also, you can stuff this in a casing, and cook it to eat like a hot dog, or in a cajun meal.

Measuring spoons, 1/8 Tsp, 1/4 Tsp, 1/2 Tsp, 1 Tsp, 1 Tbl
Frying pan
Spatula
Non stick spray or oil
Ingredients
1 Tbl Sweet red pepper -- diced fine,optional
2 Tbl Cream
1 lb Ground turkey -- breast or pork
1 Tsp Dried basil
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/2 Tsp Dried thyme
1/2 Tsp Ground pepper
1/4 Tsp Garlic powder
1/4 Tsp Ground sage
1/8 Tsp Allspice

Serves: 12 patties
Time required: Prepare: 5 minutes Cook: 10 minutes

NOTE: Each "sausage" :0.3 carbs & 6.7 grams protein.
Directions
NOTE: If you can find sweet pepper flakes use 1 T & soak them in the cream until soft.Omit the sweet red pepper.Add to meat.
1. Place turkey & all the spices in a large bowl; mix well.
2. Form the mixture into 12 eqaul sized "sausage" shapes.
3. Grease or spray a large frying pan, add patties & cook over medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side or until thoroughly cooked & no longer pink.
Serve with
Eggs, and anything else you like.
Variations
*Use real garlic that you have roated, or dry fried and minced.
*Any seasonings you like.
