    Easy Wisconsin Cheese and Macaroni

    This is a very simple and quick recipe you can do. Flavor it with different cream of soups. Have the kids do this to get them started cooking.

    Tools

    Pot
    Strainer
    Stirring spoon
    Can opener
    Bowl or pot to cook vegetables
    Grater
    Measuring cup


    Ingredients

    1 1/2 C Elbow, shapes or spiral macaroni
    2 C (8 ounces) shredded Wisconsin Swiss, Cheddar or Provolone cheese
    1 can (10 ounces) Cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 C Milk
    2 C Cooked vegetables (frozen, canned or fresh), optional

    Serves: 6
    Time required: Prepare: Cook:
    Difficulty: Easy


    Directions

    1. Start cooking macaroni according to package directions. Drain when done cooking.

    2. Put cooked pasta in a bowl.

    3. In same saucepan, cook cheese, soup and milk, mixing thoroughly. Cook and stir over low heat until cheese is melted.

    4. Stir in cooked macaroni and vegetables. Reheat to serving temperature.


    Serve with

    Tuna sandwich, and fruit for dessert.

    Hot dogs, green salad, and smoothie.


    Variations

    *Use all three cheeses mentioned.

    *Use cream of chicken and celery soup instead.
