Toasted Ravioli

Recipe Introduction
These are a big variation on the regular appetizer. They are breaded and a pasta. Try these with different stuffings, and make your own fresh ravioli.

Tools
2 Bowls
Can opener
Wisk
Deep fryer or heavy gauge pot
Slotted spoon
Cheese grater, fine
Paper towels
Ingredients
2 lg Eggs
1/2 C Evaporated milk
1 C Italian bread crumbs
Oil for frying
24 small Meat or cheese ravioli, thawed
1/4 C Parmesan, grated
2 C Marinara or other dipping sauce
Recipe
Serves: 4 to 6 people
Time required: Prepare: 5 minutes Cook: 20 minutes
Difficulty: Easy
Directions
1. Preheat frying oil to 350 degrees.
2. Mix together milk and eggs.
3. In another bowl, pour bread crumbs.
4. Dip ravioli into egg drench. Let excess drip off.
5. Dip ravioli into bread dredge.
NOTE: If you like heavily breaded things, drench and dredge again.
NOTE: You can do this ahead of time by putting on sheet pan, and putting in the refrigerator till needed.
6. Fry ravioli until golden brown.
7. With ravioli hot, sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
8. Serve with dipping sauce of your choice.
9. Serve 4 to 6 per person.
Serve with
Fried zuchinni and fresh vegetables to be dipped in your favorite dip.
Variations
*Use any spices and herbs in the bread crumbs.
*Use grated cheeses like parmesan, or any hard cheese in the bread crumbs.
