    This is a quick and easy recipe for kids to get started cooking. The coatings will make it better for the kids. Ask your kids what products they like, then go and look up the manufacturer's website. Then go to the recipes, or look at the foodservice. There are alot of good recipes for all the food you bring home from the store.

    2 Bowls
    Fork
    Measuring cup
    Baking sheet


    Ingredients

    Gorton's Battered Tenders or Fish Sticks
    1 Egg
    1/4 C Water
    Coatings: Coconut, or Crushed nacho chips, or Crushed potato chips, or Cereal (Rice Krispies, Corn Flakes, Sweetened cereal, or Crushed Corn Chips

    Recipe

    Serves: Family
    Time required: Prepare: 10 minutes Cook: Instructions
    Oven temperature: As directed on package
    Difficulty: Easy


    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to temperature on package.

    2. Mix egg and water in bowl.

    3. Put crushed coatings in other bowl.

    4. Dip fish in egg wash, completely covering, then in coatings. Lay fish on baking sheet.

    5. Bake according to the time on package.


    Serve with

    Home made fries, coleslaw, and yogurt.

    Wrapped in tortilla, with salad ingredients, yogurt dressing or salsa, and fresh fruit.


    Variations

    *Sprinkle with a seasoning you like.
