    1 (1 lb) CAN SALMON (PREFERABLY RED)
    1/4 ONION
    1/2 CUP BOILING WATER
    1 ENVELOPE GELATIN
    2 TEASPOON LEMON JUICE
    3/4 CUP HALF-AND-HALF
    1/2 CUP MAYONNAISE
    CHOPPED FRESH DILL (LOTS!!!)

    TOPPING:

    SOUR CREAM
    MAYONNAISE
    CHOPPED FRESH DILL
    PIECE OF DILL


    Recipe



    REMOVE BONES AND SKIN FROM SALMON AND PUT IN BLENDER. ADD NEXT FOUR INGREDIENTS. BLEND WELL.


    REMOVE FROM BLENDER AND ADD NEXT THREE INGREDIENTS.


    PLACE IN GREASED MOLD AND REFRIGERATE UNTIL FIRM.


    MIX EVEN AMOUNTS OF SOUR CREAM AND MAYONNAISE AND ADD LOTS OF DILL. PUT IN CENTER OF MOLD AFTER IT HAS BEEN UNMOLDED. TOP WITH A SPRIG OF FRESH DILL.


    SERVE WITH CRISP CRACKERS.
