    APPLE CRISP PIE

    ORIGINAL RECIPE

    List of Ingredients

    Crust:

    1� cups flour
    � cup vegetable oil
    1 teaspoon sugar
    � teaspoon salt
    3 Tablespoons COLD milk

    Enough sliced apples to fill your pie plate
    1 Tablespoon lemon juice

    Topping:

    1/3 cup flour
    1 cup oatmeal
    � cup brown sugar
    � teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/3 cup melted butter

    Recipe

    For crust:

    Put dry ingredients in pie plate. Add oil & milk and mix with a fork. Use your fingers to press crust into place. Dot with butter.

    Peel, core and slice enough apples to fill your pie plate. Sprinkle with 1 Tablespoon of lemon juice. Top with Crisp topping.

    To make Crisp topping:

    Combine dry ingredients. Add melted butter. Mix until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples.

    Bake at 375� for 30 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the topping has browned.
