THE PIRATES' HOUSE PECAN PIE

List of Ingredients
9 inch pie crust, unbaked
3 eggs
1/2 cup dark Kara syrup
1/2 cup whipping cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 Tablespoons bourbon whiskey
1 cup sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 Tablespoons butter, melted
2 cups chopped pecans
Recipe
Preheat oven to 375°. Beat eggs well. Beat in all other ingredients until well-blended. Pour into pie shell. Bake on a cookie sheet for 40 minutes, or until center is set. Pie will pull up and then settle. Cool to room temperature and refrigerate. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla or coffee ice cream, if desired.
