    PEANUT BUTTER SNICKERS BROWNIES

    Source of Recipe

    ORIGINAL RECIPE

    Recipe Introduction

I came up with this as a way to use up left over mini-Snickers bars, after Halloween. Recipe can be doubled and made in a 9x13 pan.

    List of Ingredients

½ cup Crunchy peanut butter (I use Jif)
4 Tablespoons (½ stick) butter, softened (or melted)
    1 cup brown sugar
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    2 eggs, beaten
    2/3 cups flour
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    ¼ teaspoon salt
6-8 miniature Snickers bars(cut lengthwise, then slice each half in three pieces)

    Recipe

Pre-heat oven to 350°. And grease an 8x8 square pan.

Cream peanut butter and butter. Add the brown sugar, and mix well.

Stir in the vanilla and the beaten eggs.

Mix in the flour and baking powder and salt. Mix well.

Fold in the pieces of Snickers bars.

Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes, until they are dry on the top, and test done. Cool and cut into 16 pieces.

This makes a nice chewy brownie, and they are wonderful served warm!
