3 eggs
1/8 teaspoon salt
1½ cups milk
1/4 cup maple syrup

Scald milk. Beat eggs slightly, add sugar, salt and maple syrup.
Add scalded milk. Stir until well mixed. Pour into 4 greased custard cups. Set in a hot water bath, and bake at 350° F until set about 45 minutes (but watch closely, because oven temperatures vary!)
