PEACH BREAD PUDDING

3 cups fresh peaches, thinly sliced
2 cups milk
2 cups fresh bread crumbs
1 pinch salt
1 cup dark brown sugar, packed
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup butter
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350°
Scald milk, stir hot milk into bread crumbs. Add butter and mix well. Add salt, brown sugar, eggs and cinnamon, stirring into bread crumb mixture.
Fold in peaches. Butter a casserole dish, pour in pudding mixture and bake 1 hour.
Serve either hot or cold with whipped cream or ice cream (it's good, plain, too!)
