    SUET PUDDING

    List of Ingredients

    1 cup molasses
    ½ cup suet
    1 cup milk
    3 cups flour
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    1 teaspoon cloves
    1 teaspoon nutmeg
    a combination of assorted dried fruits and ground nuts, to equal 2 cups

    Recipe

    Mix together and steam in 2 (1 lb) coffee cans, covered with aluminum foil, for 2½ hours.

    This should be steamed in a covered kettle, on a rack over hot water.

    Serve warm, with Hard Sauce (see Hard Sauce recipes under "Sauces")
