    List of Ingredients

    1 lb. Ground round
    ¼ cup finely chopped onion
3 Tablespoons fine, dried bread crumbs
    1 egg white
    2 Tablespoons water
    ¼ teaspoon beef bouillon granules
    ¼ teaspoon pepper
    1/8 teaspoon salt
    ---------vegetable cooking spray
    1 teaspoon margarine, melted
    ¾ cups sliced mushrooms
1 small onion, sliced and separated into rings
    1 (13 ¾ oz) can beef broth
    2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
    1 Tablespoon Cornstarch
    2 Tablespoons water

    Recipe

Combine the first 8 ingredients in a bowl, shape into 4 patties.

Coat a skillet with cooking spray, heat over medium-high heat. Add patties and cook for 5 minutes on each side. Remove patties from pan, and pat off excess fat with a paper towel. Wipe the fat out of the pan.

Melt the margarine in the same pan. Add onions and mushrooms and cook until tender. Add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for 5 minutes.

Return patties to the skillet. Cover, reduce heat and cook for about 10 minutes. Remove patties again and place on a plate or platter, and keep warm.

Combine Cornstarch and water. Add to broth mixture in the pan. Bring to a boil, and cook until thickened, stirring constantly (about 1 minute). Spoon over the patties.
