    1 pound lean ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 Tablespoons butter or margarine
    1 cup finely shredded carrots
    3 cups finely shredded cabbage
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 jar (16 oz) herbed spaghetti sauce
    1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

    Recipe



    In a medium skillet, saute onion in butter until soft, add ground beef. Cook, breaking up the meat until the meat is no longer pink.

    In a 2-quart buttered casserole, layer the carrots, and half of the cabbage. Sprinkle with salt. Add meat mixture, and press down slightly. Add the rest of the cabbage.

    Add Worcestershire sauce to spaghetti sauce, and pour over casserole. Cover.

    Bake at 350° for about 1 hour, or until the cabbage is done.

    Add cheese, and bake uncovered for another 5-10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
