THIS RECIPE IS FOR DOGS, NOT FOR HUMANS!
List of Ingredients
2 cups whole wheat flour
½ cup bulgur (cracked wheat)
2 Tablespoons brewer's yeast (available in health food stores)
2 cloves garlic, minced
¼ cup vegetable oil
¾ cups beef stock
1 beaten egg
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 Tablespoon ketchup
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350°
Combine the flour, bulgur, brewer's yeast and garlic in a large bowl. Add oil and stock, and mix well. (This dough will be very stiff!--add a little water if too dry)
In a small bowl, beat together the egg, Worcestershire sauce and ketchup.
Roll dough out to ¼ inch thickness. Cut into bones, and brush with egg mixture.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for about 35 minutes. Turn off the heat of the oven, and let the biscuits dry in the oven for several hours. Keep refrigerated in an airtight container
